Quella di oggi è stata una dura giornata per i volontari della Misericordia di Floridia.
Oltre ad espletare i servizi sanitari ordinari, rivolti alla popolazione più bisognosa, hanno svolto anche quelli in emergenza derivati dal vento e dalla pioggia che imperversa sul territorio.
Le squadre di volontari, costantemente in contatto con la sala situazioni della fraternità connessa al COC (Centro Operativo Comunale di Floridia) e alla sala operativa del dipartimento regionale della protezione civile, hanno monitorato dal primo pomeriggio di ieri gli obiettivi sensibili sul territorio comunale, hanno dato supporto alla viabilità e verificato tutte le segnalazioni di alberi divelti, smottamenti e allagamenti.
